Getting there
Traveling to Westbrook Centre by Road
If you are arriving by car, please contact RAND Europe reception in advance to book a visitor parking space.
From EAST or WEST
When traveling West on the A14 from Bury St Edmunds, or East on the A45 from Bedford, exit the A14 at the Histon Road junction – the B1049 signposted Histon and Cambridge.
Continue down Histon Road for 1 mile, following signs for Cambridge City centre. At the 3rd set of traffic lights turn left into Gilbert Road; follow the road to the end. Turn right at traffic lights onto Milton Road. Westbrook Centre is the 1st turning on your right. Block 1 is directly ahead of you. RAND Europe car parking is underground; follow the road round to your right. At the barrier ring bell, and reception will direct you towards RAND Europe parking spaces numbers 159 and 160.
From the SOUTH
If traveling North on the M11 from London, where the M11 merges with the A14 take the A14 eastbound turning to Newmarket/Norwich. Exit the A14 at the Histon Road junction – the B1049 signposted to Histon and Cambridge.
Continue down Histon Road, following signs for Cambridge City centre, for 1 mile. At the 3rd set of traffic lights turn left into Gilbert Road; follow the road to the end. Turn right at traffic lights onto Milton Road. Westbrook Centre is the 1st turning on your right. Block 1 is directly ahead of you. From the NORTH
If traveling South on the A14 follow the signs for Cambridge along the A1307 – do not continue onto the M11 or along the A14 East to Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds. Continue into Cambridge on the A1307 (Huntingdon Road). At the first set of traffic lights turn left into Victoria Road (signposted Ring Road).
Continue down Victoria Road, over the traffic lights until you come to a one-way system. Follow this road round to the left; take a left hand turning into Milton Road. The Westbrook Centre is the 1st turning on your left. RAND Europe car parking is underground; follow the road round to your right. At the barrier ring bell, and reception will direct you towards RAND Europe parking spaces numbers 159 and 160.
Rail from London
From Central London, go to King's Cross station for the fast train to Cambridge.
From Heathrow, take the train to Paddington and the Circle Line tube to King's Cross or the Piccadilly Line tube (slower but cheaper) all the way from Heathrow to King's Cross.
From Gatwick, take the train to Victoria, then the Victoria Line tube to King's Cross.
From Stansted, take the train to Cambridge. This is the Liverpool train, not the Liverpool Street train, which goes to London!
It is advisable that first-time visitors get a taxi from the rail station in Cambridge to Westbrook Centre.
Bus from Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted
There is a 2-hourly direct bus service from Gatwick (3 hours, 40 mins) and an hourly direct bus service from Heathrow (2 hours, 30 mins) to Cambridge.
In Cambridge, exit the bus at the Drummer Street station (main station in Cambridge).
